BYD’s Denza luxury brand launches in Singapore
BYD launched its luxury marque Denza in Singapore on October 10, headlined by the all-electric Denza D9 MPV. The D9, popular in China with over 200,000 units sold since 2022, boasts luxury features like Napa leather seats, a 103kWh battery with a 520km range, and a high-end multimedia system. Available in two variants priced at 296,688 Singaporean dollars (about $216,000) and 341,888 Singaporean dollars (about $249,000), it targets both families and business elites. Denza, now fully owned by BYD after a joint venture with Mercedes, represents BYD’s push into the luxury segment, supported by local dealers and a new showroom.
