LVMH’s Celine taps Matthieu Petri to lead Greater China ops

French luxury brand Celine, part of the LVMH group, has appointed Matthieu Petri as general manager for Greater China. Petri will enhance the brand’s presence in the region by adapting strategies to local market needs, including digital innovations, e-commerce, and product adjustments. Previously, he was chief commercial officer at Balmain, where he significantly contributed to the brand’s global expansion and maintained its elite image.
