Hong Kong’s sees 52% YoY increase in tourist arrivals
Hong Kong saw over 25 million tourists in the first seven months of the year, marking a 52% YoY increase, with visitors from outside mainland China rising by 71%. Among the total, approximately 19.3 million were mainland tourists, up 47.3%, while non-mainland travelers totaled about 5.8 million, an increase of 71.1%. Additionally, 1.6 million visitors arrived via long-haul flights, including 362,000 from new markets such as India, Russia, the Netherlands, Vietnam, and six Arab countries.
