Porsche global sales dip 7%, China market sees 33% drop

Porsche sold 155,900 units in the first half, down 7% YoY, the firm announced yesterday. In Europe, excluding Germany, sales grew by 6% to 38,611 units, while in Germany, they increased by 22% to 20,811 units. In North America, sales fell by 6% to 39,558 units, and in emerging overseas markets, sales remained flat at 27,414 units. However, Porsche’s sales in China dropped 33% to 29,551 units, losing its position as Porsche’s largest global market. The decline is partly due to upcoming model updates for the Cayenne, Panamera, Macan, Taycan, and 911, affecting new car sales.
