Founded in 2009, Jing Daily has become a trusted resource for global fashion insiders, enthusiasts, and decision-makers seeking to understand how consumers, culture, and commerce are shaping the future of luxury across China, the wider APAC region, and the Middle East. At the heart of our work is a belief in fashion’s interconnectedness — and there’s no better place to bring that exchange to life than Dubai. For this designer exhibition, you are viewing the work of Susan Fang and PRONOUNCE founders Yushan Li and Jun Zhou — designers who reflect the breadth of China’s creative energy and its growing global impact. In honor of Chinese New Year or Spring Festival (春节), our editors, alongside some of China’s leading stylists, have curated a seasonal style guide inspired by standout pieces from the mall’s leading stores. ABOUT PRONOUNCE Founded by Yushan Li and Jun Zhou in 2016, PRONOUNCE built its reputation on architectural tailoring that channels Chinese heritage through cut and construction rather than overt signifiers. Showing consistently at Milan Fashion Week, staging pop-ups from Shanghai to Seoul, and collaborating with Pop Mart’s Labubu, the label operates at the intersection of fashion, culture, and collectible design. Its work resonates with a design-literate audience that has moved past logo codes, favoring nuance, cultural fluency, and insider cool. ABOUT SUSAN FANG SUSANG FANG’s practice centers on craft, emotion, and material exploration. Known for her air-weaving techniques and translucent, nature-inspired forms, her work sits between fashion, sculpture, and textile innovation. A Central Saint Martins graduate, Fang has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, the BoF 500, and the LVMH Prize shortlist, and has collaborated with brands including Nike, Swarovski, Zara, UGG, Victoria’s Secret, and Apple. ABOUT MALL OF THE EMIRATES Opened in 2005, Mall of the Emirates is one of the Middle East’s most prominent shopping and lifestyle destinations, operated by Majid Al Futtaim. Serving both Dubai’s growing Chinese resident community and an increasing number of Chinese visitors, Mall of the Emirates continues to position itself as a platform for experiential retail and cross-cultural exchange, reinforced by its landmark AED 5 billion expansion.
