International Realtors Look To Tap Demand Among Wealthy Chinese LPS Beijing 2011 Running from November 4-6, this year's Luxury Properties Showcase (LPS) Beijing will bring together international realtors and wealthy Chinese buyers at the city's Legendale Hotel. Together with the likes of the Luxury Society, iFeng, the Wall Street Journal China and Luxury Insider, Jing Daily is an official media partner for the event. Highlighting hundreds of domestic and overseas properties and the latest trends in luxury home design, the three-day event is expected to bring in around 4,000 visitors. Properties on show at LPS Beijing 2011 will include villas, upscale apartments and historical properties in cities spanning the globe, including Beijing, Sanya, Lijiang, Xi’an, New York, London, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Monaco, Geneva and Auckland. For the first time, this year LPS will also include a section on private islands around the world, all of which are currently up for grabs. With historical properties, particularly in Europe, becoming the latest target for many affluent Chinese, another section will feature the best in French, Italian and Swiss chateaux, estates and vineyards. With the alpine skiing lifestyle gradually catching on among a sliver of the Chinese population, LPS Beijing will also feature a section on some of the world's most popular resort destinations, including France’s Megeve and Courchevel and Switzerland’s St. Moritz. Indicating a shift away from flash and towards lifestyle among some of China's more sophisticated high rollers, a major focus of this year's LPS event is eco-friendly properties, located in unspoiled areas in New Zealand, the Swiss Alps and the Pacific Islands. Experts in eco-friendly design and architecture from Belgium and Luxembourg will be on hand at the event to speak with interested parties. This year's event also features the first Italian pavilion at LPS, highlighting the very best in Italian culture and lifestyle. In addition to introducing visitors to available properties in Tuscany, Sicily, Milan and Rome, the pavilion will include sections on Italian cuisine, furniture, theatre, sculpture and more.
