Hermès has invited Chinese artist Xue Feng to create a themed window display, “The Window as a Distant Journey” (此窗即远), and an accompanying exhibition, “Measuring the Distance” (测远), at Shanghai’s Hermès Maison. The works draw from the artist’s road trip tracing the ancient Silk Road from Dunhuang to Quanzhou. The men’s universe window features imagery of the Hexi Corridor, Qilian Mountains, the Great Wall, and camel caravans. The exhibition, curated by Yang Zi, runs until June 14, 2026; the window display will remain on view until August 19, 2026.
