Baoding backs GreenLab in men’s makeup push

Chinese men’s facial grooming brand GreenLab has completed a new strategic funding round of tens of millions of RMB, backed exclusively by Baoding Venture Capital. Zhang Yaodong, founding partner of Baoding Venture Capital and former vice president of L’Oréal China, will join GreenLab’s board. The funding follows GreenLab’s Pre-A round in 2025 and will support product development, brand building, and channel optimization. The brand targets men aged 18 to 30 with its signature “tinted primer,” which sold over 800,000 units in 2025, securing the top online market share in men’s makeup for H1 that year. Monthly GMV has maintained triple-digit YoY growth throughout 2026.
