Tod’s CEO John Galantic exits after less than two years
Tod’s CEO John Galantic left the Italian fashion group at the end of April, less than two years after joining in September 2024. A company representative told Bloomberg his departure was due to personal reasons; a successor has not been named. The American executive, who spent approximately 16 years at Chanel overseeing the US market, has returned to the US. His departure follows Tod’s delisting from the Italian stock exchange — the Della Valle family-controlled group is backed by L Catterton — amid an industry-wide luxury downturn and a supply chain probe by Italian prosecutors.
