British luxury perfume house Clive Christian has opened its first China pop-up at Beijing SKP-S, replicating its London flagship and marking the first Asian appearance of its iconic crown installation. The brand — which once held the Guinness World Record for the world’s most expensive perfume, No. 1 Imperial Majesty, at 115,000 pounds ($155,000) — is expanding into Greater China through Eternal Beauty Holdings. Following a Hong Kong debut at Lane Crawford in February 2026, this marks the brand’s first mainland China presence. Founded as the Crown Perfumery Company in 1872 with Queen Victoria’s crown permission, the house was revived by British interior designer Clive Christian in 1999.
