L’Oréal backs Indian skincare startup Chosen in $5M raise
Bengaluru-based skincare startup Chosen has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from L’Oréal's Bold venture arm and Alkemi Growth Capital. Founded in 2020 by cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Renita Rajan, the company sells skincare products and nutraceuticals through a clinic-to-consumer model. The funds will support research and development, new clinically validated products, and expansion of its dermatologist-led Center of Excellence.
