The inaugural British Beauty Festival opened April 23 in Shanghai’s Jing’an district as part of the Shanghai International Cosmetic Festival, running through April 30. Organized by the British Beauty Association, the UK Department for Business and Trade, and Chrysalis Beauty, the event features an immersive pop-up and garden installation themed “British Bloom Garden.” Over 20 established and emerging UK brands — including Elemis, Jo Malone London, and Eve Lom — are participating across skincare, fragrance, and cosmetics, with several making their China debut. An April 24 forum co-hosted with WWD will address industry trends, with additional experiences held in partnership with Bicester Village and Lane Crawford.
