German luxury brand MCM unveiled “Disco on Mars,” an immersive interplanetary installation at Milan Design Week created in collaboration with Atelier Biagetti. The three-story, video game-style spaceship at the Rotonda del Pellegrini features Atelier Biagetti-designed pieces embellished with MCM’s Visetos monogram, including the “Orbit” stool, “Gravity” dumbbell, “Mach-1” space helmet, and “Alphabet” candle collection. Around 1,000 guests attended Sunday’s opening. To mark its 50th anniversary, MCM is also releasing iconic bags in special finishes, a MCM x Nymphenburg Diamond Cup, the new “Cosmic Star” fragrance, and an eyewear collaboration with Marcolin.
