McQueen has launched an immersive exhibition titled “McQueen: Beneath the Surface” at Fotografiska Center for Imaging Arts in Shanghai, exploring the brand's aesthetic duality. The show features the Manta bag — a recreation of the archival “De Manta” from 2010, its folded form drawn from manta rays — alongside the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, which debuted at Paris Fashion Week in March. The exhibition marks the Shanghai debut of creative director Seán McGirr. A launch reception featured a performance by experimental duo Molagua, with actress-turned-vocalist Amber Kuo, alongside actors Qu Chuxiao, Xiang Hanzhi, and Zhou Yutong.
