IWC Schaffhausen welcomed brand ambassadors Eileen Gu and George Russell to its space station-inspired exhibition at Watches and Wonders Geneva on Wednesday. The Swiss watchmaker is celebrating the 90th anniversary of its Pilot’s Watches collection and its expansion from aviation into space exploration. Gu, an Olympic gold medalist in freestyle skiing, made her return to the event, while Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team driver George Russell attended for the first time. Gu wore the Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 34 “The Little Prince” Anniversary Edition; Russell wore the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 “The Little Prince” Anniversary Edition. IWC also unveiled its new Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar with bidirectional adjustment.
