Miu Miu’s Literary Club returns to Milan Design Week from April 22 to 24, taking over the historic Circolo Filologico cultural space for readings, conversations, and performances. Directed by Miuccia Prada, the fourth edition — titled “Politics of Desire” — explores sexuality, consent, and self-determination as acts of resistance. The program draws from Nobel laureate Annie Ernaux’s A Girl’s Story and Ghanaian feminist icon Ama Ata Aidoo’s Changes: A Love Story (1991). New this year are lectures by writer Olga Campofreda and philosopher Rosi Braidotti, alongside daily book clubs and live music.
