Kering nominates two new directors ahead of May AGM
Kering will seek shareholder approval to appoint Marie-Hélène Chenut, a 30-year Chanel veteran, and Laurent Kleitman, CEO of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, to its board of directors. The two nominees will replace Alphabet marketing executive Yonca Dervisoglu and former Chanel CEO Maureen Chiquet. Given Kering’s Pinault family control, the nominations are expected to pass at the company’s AGM on May 28. Chenut brings experience from Chanel’s perfume and couture divisions, while Kleitman has previously held roles at Dior Parfums, Coty, and Unilever.
