Finnish design brand Marimekko is expanding into Indonesia and the Philippines, with stores set to open in summer 2026 through franchise partnerships. In Indonesia, franchise partner PT. Panen Lestari Indonesia — part of MAP Group, which represents over 150 international brands — will open Marimekko’s first store at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta. In the Philippines, partner Rustan Commercial Corporation will launch four shop-in-shop locations in luxury department stores in the capital region. The expansion adds to Marimekko’s 94 Asia-Pacific stores and shop-in-shops, as the brand pursues its 2023-2027 global growth strategy.
