Tom Sachs and Nike celebrate 10-year partnership with ‘Bricolage’ shoe release

To mark the 10th anniversary of New York contemporary artist Tom Sachs’ collaboration with Nike, the duo is releasing a new NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe “Bricolage.”

The sneaker features an off-white base with yellow, green, and black accents, ideal for spring and summer. Named after the improvisational process of creating art from disparate materials, the shoe sports a white mesh and gray suede upper, a yellow Swoosh, pine green nylon ribbon on the tongue and heel pulls, and black laces, and outsole.

Sachs designed the General Purpose Shoe to be “boring” and more accessible than his Mars Yard series, which resells for thousands of dollars. The “Bricolage” colorway, first seen in 2022, ends a long wait for fans. Priced at $110, the shoe will be available for pre-order April 8 on Tom Sachs’ official website, followed by a wider release April 14 via the SNKRS app and select Nike retailers.
