Chanel hikes prices in South Korea
French luxury brand Chanel has raised prices in South Korea, with its Chanel 25 bag small size surpassing 10 million won ($6,600) for the first time following an approximately 3% hike. The maison raised major bag prices by approximately 7% in January and hiked prices five times last year alone. Despite this, Chanel Korea posted record revenue of 2.013 trillion won ($1.33 billion) in 2025, up 9% YoY, with operating profit rising 25%. Hermès also recently raised prices on bags and accessories by 3% to 5% in the market.
