Beiersdorf has launched the second generation of its corporate venture capital fund with a 100 million euros ($116 million) commitment, doubling its original 2020 fund. The new Skin Care Innovation Fund invests across life sciences, biotechnology, sustainability, AI-enabled technologies, and digital health, with initial investments typically ranging from 500,000 euros to 5 million euros ($580,000 to $5.8 million). Since 2020, Beiersdorf Venture Capital has built a portfolio of more than 15 companies, with investments including longevity science, PET recycling technology, and precision fermented lipids.
