Kering has appointed Pierre Houlès as chief digital, AI, and IT officer, effective immediately, as CEO Luca de Meo accelerates a leadership overhaul of the French luxury group. Houlès, joining the executive committee and reporting to COO Jean-Marc Duplaix, comes from Renault, where he led digital transformation from 2016 as managing director of Renault Digital and deputy CIO. His appointment continues Kering’s trend of recruiting from the automotive sector; other recent hires span talent, industrial operations, and marketing. De Meo is scheduled to unveil his strategic roadmap at a Capital Markets Day in Florence on April 16.
