John Galliano joins Zara for collaboration

John Galliano will return to fashion through a two-year creative collaboration with Zara, his first major project since leaving Maison Margiela in 2024. The partnership will see Galliano reinterpret and reconstruct Zara’s archival pieces into new seasonal designs, applying a couture-driven approach with new cuts, fabrics, and color treatments. The first collection is expected to debut in September 2026. Previously the creative director of Givenchy, Dior, and Maison Margiela, Galliano partners with a mass-market retailer for the first time, reinforcing Zara’s strategy of elevating its design credibility.
