Rolex has unveiled an all-female lineup of five Laureates for the 2026 Rolex Awards, the program’s 50th anniversary. Among them is Chinese environmental scientist Binbin Li, who is working with local communities to develop sustainable livestock grazing practices protecting giant pandas and their habitat across China's mountain ranges. The cohort includes conservationists and scientists from Indonesia, Nigeria, Peru, and the U.S. Now running annually rather than biennially, the program — part of Rolex’s Perpetual Planet Initiative — has recognized 165 Laureates across 52 nationalities since 1976.
