Burberry marks 170 years with The Trench campaign

Burberry has unveiled “The Trench, Portraits of an Icon,” a global campaign marking the brand’s 170th anniversary. Photographed by Tim Walker in black and white, the campaign celebrates the iconic trench coat and Thomas Burberry’s 1879 invention of gabardine fabric. Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee said the campaign honors “a British archetype and fashion icon.” The cast includes brand ambassadors Wu Lei and Utada Hikaru, alongside Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Jonathan Bailey, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kid Cudi, Kristin Scott Thomas, Bright, and Park Jin-young.
