Balenciaga launches 1st campaign under Piccioli

Balenciaga has released a new advertising campaign photographed by David Sims, the first major project under new creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. The campaign showcases Piccioli’s debut collections: the Summer 2026 “Heartbeat” series and the Fall 2026 “Body and Being.” The images highlight his approach to balancing volume and lightness through Balenciaga’s couture craftsmanship. Piccioli has emphasized that clothing should serve the wearer — their movements and feelings — rather than the other way around, a philosophy reflected throughout both collections.
