Levi’s and Nike’s Air Jordan brand have revived their collaboration with a new Levi’s x Air Jordan III Retro SP “Denim” collection, set for global release beginning February 20. The partnership, their first since 2018, applies Levi’s denim craftsmanship to the Air Jordan III silhouette across multiple colorways.
The collection includes “Raw Indigo Denim,” featuring classic denim panels; “Black Denim,” combining leather with layered denim; a lighter “Sail Denim” edition; and a “Year of the Horse” variant with pony hair overlays celebrating the Lunar New Year. Each pair retains the Air Jordan III’s elephant print elements while incorporating denim overlays and red Levi’s tab detailing.
China releases begin February 20 through Levi’s official channels and Tmall, priced at 1,599 RMB ($220), followed by a February 21 launch on Nike’s Snkrs app. The “Raw Indigo Denim” version has seen secondary-market premiums exceeding 1,000 RMB ($138) above retail following its San Francisco debut. A full apparel collection accompanies the footwear, including Type III Trucker jackets, baseball jerseys, hoodies, denim shorts and pants featuring co-branded details.
