Chinese electric vehicle brand Zeekr plans to enter the Italian market, continuing its European expansion. The Geely Holding subsidiary will begin deliveries of its four-model lineup and open retail locations this spring with partner Jameel Motors. Zeekr Europe’s acting CEO, Lothar Schupet, called Italy a “key market,” citing growing demand for premium EVs and investment in charging infrastructure. Vehicles range from roughly €38,000 to €73,000 ($44,680 to $85,833).
The launch follows Zeekr’s December entry into Germany and builds on its presence in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The company plans to expand into France, Britain, and Spain in 2026. Chinese automakers continue gaining European market share through competitive pricing. Geely is targeting global sales of more than 6.5 million vehicles by 2030.
