Apple has issued media invitations for an experience event in Shanghai on March 4, 2026, at 10 p.m. Beijing time, marking the first time the company will host a spring product launch in China. The move underscores Apple’s focus on the Chinese market. The company has also invited media to attend simultaneous in-person experience events in New York and London, with the New York event scheduled for 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
Rather than a traditional keynote, Apple is expected to screen a pre-recorded launch video at all three locations, followed by hands-on access to new hardware. The invitations feature a transparent gradient Apple logo in yellow, green, and blue, hinting at visual and performance upgrades across multiple products. According to prominent leaker Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing to launch several new products in the coming weeks, including the iPhone 17e, updated iPads, and new Mac models.
However, the company faces setbacks with its long-anticipated upgraded Siri, which has encountered testing issues in recent weeks. Sources indicate that features originally planned for the iOS 26.4 update in March may be delayed, with some possibly pushed to iOS 26.5 in May or even iOS 27 in September.
