Loro Piana has introduced “Royal Lightness,” a new trademarked line centered on ultra-lightweight textiles combining silk, merino wool, and cashmere. The collection features yarns from mulberry silk and fine merino wool, as well as fabrics blending silk and cashmere, with silk measuring 21 denier and merino wool at 13.5 microns. Fabrics weigh approximately 350 grams per meter and are produced in Italy using hand-twisting and finishing techniques. The campaign draws on visual references from the brand’s 1990s aesthetic.
