Unilever revenue falls 3.8% despite China growth

Consumer goods giant Unilever reported 2025 revenue of 50.5 billion euros ($55 billion), a 3.8% decline YoY, while net profit rose 2.9% to 6.2 billion euros ($6.8 billion). Gross margin improved to 46.9%. The company completed or announced 10 asset transactions and spun off its ice cream business as part of a strategic focus on beauty and personal care. The Chinese market showed gradual recovery with fourth-quarter growth, as e-commerce became a key driver where core brands remain competitive. Management noted core brands like Vaseline are seeing online growth nearly double their global average.
