Shanghai’s Xintiandi shopping district has launched its 2026 Spring Festival celebration, running through March 3. The 20-plus-day event spans both the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival holidays. The celebration features five themes: lantern viewing, festive dining, live performances, interactive workshops, and market shopping. It includes over 20 cultural heritage artisans, 60-plus retail and dining brands, more than 20 parades and performances, and a 13-day Spring Festival market. A “Fiery Trees and Silver Flowers” digital light installation at Xintiandi Style Phase I plaza blends with traditional lanterns along Shikumen streets.
