The Wella Company has appointed Calvin McDonald as its new chief executive officer, effective April 2, 2026. He will also join the board and be based in New York. Executive Chairman Glenn Murphy will remain in his role to support the transition. McDonald joins from Lululemon, where he served as CEO for seven years and more than tripled annual revenue while expanding into new markets and categories. Prior to that, he led Sephora Americas through five consecutive years of double-digit growth and established hair care as the region’s fastest-growing category. McDonald currently serves on the board of The Walt Disney Company.
