EssilorLuxottica reported Q4 revenue of 7.6 billion euros ($7.9 billion), an 18% increase that sharply beat analyst forecasts of 11% growth, driven by strong demand for AI-powered smart glasses developed with Meta Platforms. The company sold more than 7 million units of its Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley smart glasses in 2025. Full-year adjusted operating profit rose 6.8% to 4.5 billion euros ($4.7 billion). CEO Francesco Milleri said AI eyewear profitability would not be permanently diluted, targeting revenue growth and adjusted operating profit expansion over the next five years. Shares in its U.S.-listed ADR jumped nearly 12% on February 11.
