Hongkong Land unveils Singapore real estate fund

Hongkong Land has launched the Singapore Core Private Real Estate Fund (SCPREF), a real estate investment platform with an initial asset value of 8.2 billion Singaporean dollars ($6.4 billion). The fund’s initial portfolio consists of five prime commercial properties in Singapore’s core business districts. Major global institutions, including the Qatar Investment Authority and APG Asset Management, have joined as founding investors. Hongkong Land will act as the general partner and manager, holding a majority stake. The fund aims to acquire additional high-quality assets in Singapore’s Central Business District and Orchard Road area, with a target total asset value of S$15 billion ($11.7 billion).
