U.S. activewear brand Alo is accelerating its China expansion, starting with Hong Kong rather than Shanghai or Beijing. The brand is set to open a store at K11 Musea in Tsim Sha Tsui, where its logo has appeared on hoardings at a prime ground-floor location previously occupied by Fortnum & Mason. Alo has posted multiple Asia-Pacific roles based in Hong Kong, including senior operations positions, signaling a broader regional build-out. The move comes as competition intensifies in China’s premium activewear segment, with Vuori, Sweaty Betty, and Skims expected to enter the market in 2026.
