The Piacenza Group introduced two historic Italian textile mills to the Chinese market through “The Touch of Time” exhibition at Shanghai’s Suli Art Center. The event showcased Piacenza 1733, known for rare fibers like vicuña and cashmere, and Lanificio Cerruti 1881, recognized for modern tailoring fabrics. An art installation inspired by Italy’s Burcina Natural Park illustrated the journey from raw materials to finished textiles. The exhibition featured Piacenza 1733’s new Fall/Winter men’s wear collection, “Bohemian Journey.”
