Swedish fashion brand Arket has opened a new flagship store in ShanghaiIs IAPM mall, marking its fifth physical location in mainland China. The nearly 500-sqm store features Arket’s signature minimalist aesthetic, with monochromatic tones, custom terrazzo flooring, oak interiors, and abundant greenery. In collaboration with Beijing-based designer Frank Chou, the brand incorporated select pieces from his “Rectangle” furniture collection into the fitting area. Arket’s Managing Director Pernilla Wohlfart said the opening reflects the brand’s commitment to engaging with local communities in China. The flagship offers men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, alongside home goods. Arket now operates stores in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, and sells via Tmall, JD.com, and WeChat.
