Dior is showcasing its “Dior Lady Art #10” limited edition artist collaboration series at the Art021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair from November 13 to November 16. Marking the project’s 10th anniversary, the exhibition features works from international artists who have reinterpreted the iconic Lady Dior handbag. Chinese artist Ju Ting employed painting and sculptural techniques to alter the bag’s surface. Kuwaiti artist Alymamah Rashed incorporated enamel eye motifs symbolizing sensory memory. American painter Jessica Cannon depicted celestial bodies at each bag’s core. South Korean artist Lee Ufan explored gesture and tension using monochrome tones. French visual artist Eva Jospin integrated design elements from 30 Avenue Montaigne.
