Miu Miu Literary Club will hold its first Shanghai event under the theme “A Woman's Education,” focusing on three influential women writers: French existentialist Simone de Beauvoir, Japanese author Fumiko Enchi, and Chinese literary figure Eileen Chang. Launched in Milan in 2024 and inspired by European literary salons, the club aims to connect female experiences across time and cultures through literature. The Shanghai edition, curated by Zhang Pingjin from Tongji University, will feature dialogues exploring themes including girlhood, love, and education. The event will include poetry readings and live musical performances.
