The investigation began after Richemont Group identified Baoshan District merchants falsely promoting “authentic” jewelry during broadcasts. Police tracked shipping addresses to a Hutai Highway warehouse and residential villa command center. The September raid uncovered evidence of over 50 million RMB ($7 million) in revenue.
