Giorgio Armani releases ‘The Waiting Room’ film
Italian luxury brand Giorgio Armani released a short film titled The Waiting Room as part of its Crossroads project exploring women’s choices and transitions. Directed by Celine Song, the film unfolds in a surreal waiting room where five women — including former San Francisco Ballet principal Tan Yuanyuan — reflect on past experiences and future directions. This year’s edition emphasizes themes of time and self-awareness. Tan, who recently transitioned from a 29-year performing career to teaching and artistic direction, conveys emotion through movement. The project examines metaphorical “crossroads” in women’s lives.
