The eighth Blancpain-Imaginist Literary Prize announced its 2025 winner on November 1 in Beijing, with young writer Liao Jing receiving top honor for her novel Spring Will Never Fall. The award committee, composed of five judges including Huang Ziping and Li Zishu, selected Liao after extensive deliberation. As winner, Liao received 300,000 RMB ($41,300) and a Blancpain V-series watch. Four shortlisted authors — Li Lu, Shao Dong, Zhang Yueran, and Zi He — each received 20,000 RMB ($2,750). During the ceremony, Blancpain unveiled its 2025 limited edition literary prize watch series featuring salmon-colored dials and engraved gold rotors depicting a quill pen.
