French fashion house Dior has completed construction of its monumental standalone store, The House of Dior Beijing, in the core area of the Sanlitun Taikoo Li retail district. The new flagship, one of the brand’s largest projects to date, is set to open on December 11. Spanning five floors, the building was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning French architect Christian de Portzamparc, who also designed Dior’s flagship stores in Seoul (opened in 2015) and Geneva (2024). The flagship will house Dior’s complete product range, including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, high jewelry and watches, homeware, and fragrances from the Collection Privée.
