Geely Auto has launched its all-electric EX5 model in the U.K., initiating a broad European expansion plan. The Chinese automaker aims to introduce 15 new models and build over 1,000 sales and service outlets across Europe within five years. The U.K., now Europe’s largest new energy vehicle market, will serve as Geely’s strategic hub for further expansion into Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. The EX5 is already available in 33 global markets and leads electric SUV sales in several countries, including Malaysia and Brazil. Geely’s global sales reached 2.17 million vehicles in the first three quarters of 2025, a 46% YoY increase.
