Kering, in partnership with Plug and Play China, announced the winners of the fourth “Kering Generation Award China” at a ceremony in Shanghai’s Pudong Art Museum. The first prize of 100,000 euros ($107,000) was awarded to Interphase for its proprietary wastewater treatment technology, while second place went to Daosheng Synbiology for developing synthetic biological dyes, and third prize to Purvée Tech for its microplastic detection solutions. The jury also gave special recognition to Ocean Shield for its eco-friendly sunscreen ingredients. Winners receive mentorship and an invitation to Kering's Paris headquarters.
