Giorgio Armani Group appointed Giuseppe Marsocci as CEO on Thursday, succeeding late founder Giorgio Armani. Marsocci, a 23-year company veteran and former deputy managing director and global chief commercial officer, assumes leadership during a pivotal transition for the 50-year-old fashion house. The appointment was unanimously proposed by the Giorgio Armani Foundation, which holds 30% of voting rights. Marsocci will oversee the planned sale of a 15% stake, with priority given to LVMH, L’Oréal, or EssilorLuxottica. Pantaleo Dell’Orco, Armani’s longtime partner, was named Chairman, while Silvana Armani, the founder’s niece, becomes vice president.
