French beauty brand Lancôme launched an exhibition at Shanghai’s West Bund Art Center to celebrate its 90th anniversary. Titled “Happiness Express,” the travel-themed event presents the brand’s historical milestones and three-decade presence in China. The exhibition traces Lancôme’s origins to 1935, featuring archival items including original logos, early perfume bottles, and its first lipstick and skincare product Nutrix. A documentary filmed in Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou highlights engagement with Chinese consumers since entering the market in 1997. The exhibition runs through October 25 with free admission through Lancôme’s membership platform.
