Tesla’s China sales rise 2.8% after 2-month slide
Tesla saw a modest rebound in China last month. After two straight months of declines, the company's local deliveries rose 2.8% YoY to 90,812 vehicles, according to the China Passenger Car Association. The increase came as Tesla rolled out its six-seat Model Y SUV and started shipping China-made cars to India for the first time. Third-quarter deliveries reached nearly 242,000 vehicles. To maintain momentum, Tesla is offering 0% financing, paint credits, and Full Self-Driving transfers in China, while cheaper Model 3 and Model Y versions debut in the U.S. later this year.
