Miu Miu presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Paris, with Miuccia Prada using the apron to examine women’s labor. The collection transformed functional workwear into aesthetic statements, exploring its evolution from domestic settings to industrial, medical, and caregiving professions. Industrial twill, leather, and cotton poplin integrated with delicate lace and embroidery, while ruffles were recontextualized to challenge societal expectations. The Palais d’Iéna venue featured retro Formica tables representing daily work life. Drawing inspiration from photographers Dorothea Lange and Helga Paris, the collection reframed work as care, independence, and dedication.
